I'm not up on my A.Jackson history but he was a man of his days. Slave trade was a part of that. Fighting the Natives and relocating them was part of our expansion plans. Just the times they lived in.
Tennessee, Florida and Louisiana, especially New Orleans, can directly tie their history to this man. His statue should forever look over NOLA and he should be revered in all three states for eternity. IMO.

I would love it if the blacks would start protesting around Jackson Square because he is so selective in his dumb actions. Those that are taking over certain colleges in California quickly turned on some white progressive profs who didn't bow down to their every demand !
