Landlord owns the property. Doesn’t need permission to do shite.

Why don't you read your lease? Mine states I have to be given at least 3 business days heads up.

Take this link with a grain of salt, but it shows Louisiana has no notice requirements specified.
That is absolutely insane.
As mentioned by another poster, Alabama has 48 hours notice.

Dude, uh, tomorrow's already the 9th (sic)

There's no statute against it. She can pop up anytime.
Posted on 2/8/18 at 1:46 pm to F Secunda8
wouldn't it be considered harassment or disturbing quiet enjoyment?

Nah, there's a thing called tenant rights that landlords have to adhere to which vary from state-to-state. For example, in WI they have to give 24 hour notice. In Madison, landlords can be fined up to $600 if they don't comply with the rules.
Looks like in LA, they don't have to give advance noticed though. So sorry bruh.

My landlord is required 24 hr notice per the lease. He usually gives me a few days heads up and tries to coordinate the beat time for me.
I’m in the habit of leaving a few nugs out for him. He likes that.

If she’s hot make sure you’re naked when she comes by

hey can come by whenever they want. It blows to be the tenant but that's the way it is when you rent
After mine and the Ot’s research, she can just pop in. For whatever reason La. has no laws protecting tenants.

She has to give you typically “reasonable” notice whatever the hell that means. If she is popping in unannounced that is not allowed.

That's very considerate of him, although I almost never plan my beat times in advance.

Dude and woman could be straight up burglars scoping houses.

You sho am mad.
But yea, try google. Make sure you give the google more info than "landlord popping by".

Even if it was law, if you signed a contract (lease) with different terms, you are subject to those terms.
