Pretty sure only people in the city limits can vote for mayor

The development on the lake seems to be really good
Yep, that area has been a wasteland for so long, and Hunter has been the only one pushing for development.

That is my point. A lot of expansion south of town but housing not city limits. Just because a mailing address is Lake Charles doesn't make it city limits. Even Grand Lake mailing address is Lake Charles and it is in Cameron Parish

Just to be clear. Wilford Carter,Sr. was in the run-off four years ago. The candidate for mayor at this time is his son, W. Carter, Jr.

A great message works. Yard signs and door knocking (unless by the candidate) are both overrated.

What we like in Louisiana is a good show and political theatre.

shite, the city limits heading south end at the post office on Lake St… you incorporate all for the development that’s happened southwest over the past thirty years, the city is overwhelmingly GOP.

I know. His campaign sign was a black background with the words “Vote Democrat” in red with him standing to the left looking like a thug.

Translated, Simien means Ape. Here in BTR, my wife laughs everytime a Simien and Simien law offices commercial comes on

Told my wife the same thing. Went to the mall Wednesday evening & parked next to a vehicle with a sign in the back window. Passed him as we were walking through Dick’s.
