Well Oak Park got real ghetto and the Terrace, Car Shop, etc. all got terrible. North LC isn't that bad anymore but that area along 210/14 is bad.

12th St is the border between getting shot and being in the Garden District by you. It's like a DMZ

Yea the closer you get to Moss Bluff by the Vietnam market it isn't as terrible as it once was when UGK used to rap about Goosport.

I own a ghetto rent house on Clarinda right off of 210. The neighbor told me a lot of the drugs and thugs left since the hurricanes.

I looked this dude up.

He was convicted of simple robbery 7-20-20. Got an 893.

He got 8 years, CTS, concurrent with his PV (for the robbery) on 4-21-21. It looks like the offense date was 7-28-20.

This dude is incredible in his hatred of not being in jail

I bet Jayden disrespected him. Totally warranted.

If Carter couldn't get someone to get close, it isn't going to happen. There isn't that sort of bench in LC.

I believe you. It just feels like a ticking time bomb that LC elects a shitzer mayor. Nic Hunter and Randy Roach have been good mayors and according to my parents Willie Mount wasn't bad either.

Its a shame that Laura happened because it felt like LC was growing though that may have been from new plant construction.

Already a felon at 21.

Then proceeds to murder someone else

Toss him into the swamp. No reason to attempt to rehabilitate this dude in prison for decades .

yeah,,, the fact that he had to have already been convicted of a felony, then got arrested again for being in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and only being 21 doesn't really add up. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is a pretty serious charge.

First thing I thought as well

poor ol lil Jayden Drashon probably was more worried about all of the white supremacists that grand wizards Joe keeps warning everyone about. he probably never saw it coming.

Same shite happened in Covington with the guy who killed the priest and the old lady.

We need to stop coddling society, and put down some of these monsters.

That apartment complex is apparently hell on earth. I was reading the reviews yesterday.

Is it “affordable”/income-capped housing?

I mean he got 8 years on his prior bit. You can only sentence someone to so many years on non-violent offenses.

Hell, he had the 2nd harshest judge out here.

Looks like he didn't serve anywhere close to 8 years though.

No use in wasting taxpayer money on feeding and housing this POS. Tie cinder blocks to his feet and throw him in the river.

I'm guessing Canaday or Ritchie?

Any chance this guy gets the death penalty

We did plenty of work at the jail on Broad St. this year. One of the cops said a guy served his sentence and was released. Thirty minutes later, the guy threw a brick through their office window and was arrested again. When asked why he did it, the criminal said he was cold and wanted some food and a place to sleep.

2nd degree murder is life.

Even if he got 1st, and got convicted, and the jury voted for DP, no prisoners are actively being killed right now.

It's virtue signaling at this point

LeJoilliet Apartments are brand new. Less than 3 years old. It’s a shame how fast affordable housing can decline.

And they’re getting ready to build Phase II…

Need to just put him down quickly. He will be nothing the rest of his crappy life. Why we keep these animals alive is beyond me.
