I'm trying to get into a mode where I can make the most of each day for me and my dogs.

We're all getting older. I feel melancholy when I see the white and grey in my older dog's face. It seems like she was a puppy not so long ago.

I’ve got a dog and she is 12. We are animal people and love our fur babies.

This main coon I had was insane. Would play fetch, games, nothing like a regular cat and I’m not a big cat fan at all.

He was exactly like a dog.

You could rough house with him and everything.

Same situation with my wife and our British Blue almost two years ago now. He was 13 and awesome. We have a Scottish Fold and a Scottish Straight now, the first is about 18 months old and the second just over a year. Cats are cool.

I am very sorry for your loss. I had to put down my Tonkinese last year. It still hurts but not allowing her to suffer was the right thing to do. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

We just had our 15 yr old beagle, Chipper, put down two mornings ago. He was a good buddy for a long time.

This got a lot of down votes, but it was pretty damn funny.

Up vote from me! Well done sir.

Ugh... You had my sympathy until you used this term.

Unless you are a woman, then it is mildly acceptable.

My neice had a cat with thumbs. Nice cat but he got tumors on his kidneys and one of them burst.

She had him put to sleep.

Lost one of our dogs to a snake bite a couple weeks ago, still hurts.

Cats are underrated, my cat is sitting in my lap right now. He is my drinking buddy, loves beer and coffee. He also hangs out with the dogs all day like he is one of them.
