Not sure what to make of this. Manager got fired but she seemed quite prickly.
---
The incident occurred when Decuir returned to the Popeyes location on Johnston Street to address an error in her order, which she had placed via a mobile app. Upon requesting a correction or refund, a confrontation ensued with the manager, who allegedly threw the hot chicken at her, resulting in first-degree burns.
“I was assaulted,” Decuir said. “I was belittled. I mean, it was a horrible experience, and no one should have to go through that.”
“He wanted to pull me up for 25 minutes to drop the chicken,” she said. “I’ve already waited over half an hour, for order, that’s not right. So that’s whenever I asked for at least a refund and it wasn’t good. From there he took the chicken. He was like, ‘well, give me the chicken’ and I was like, ‘well, can I have the receipt?’ Because I will be back for my money and to complain and I don’t think he liked that I said that.”
Decuir described the moment when the manager allegedly threw the hot chicken at her, causing burns on her neck, chest, arms, legs and feet. She immediately contacted the police, who then called EMTs to the scene. Decuir, who is disabled and recovering from a severe accident, said she felt targeted and helpless during the confrontation.
Decuir told the news station she is seeking an attorney in the matter. She claimed she suffered physical and emotion distress after the incident

Does everyone that gets assaulted or even interviewed have a disability or pending disability? Or just got in a wreck or broke something.

I don't care how prickly she was. Men ought not toss hot chicken on women customers.
Also... being expected to wait patiently for 55min plus for some drive thru chicken is BS. Should have refunded her.

I mean, at some point you have to blame yourself. You knew what you were getting into.

Assault with a delicious weapon.

The last thing I would do is do an interview with the local news about how I got assaulted at Popeyes. If you want to file a complaint sure but people that do these interviews seem like bigger slimeballs than the offenders.

She’s about to be rich for a couple years.

The fact she is getting an attorney looking for a pay day just shows she is pure trash too.

I'd be pissed and looking for a payday too... but I wouldn't be talking to the media about it.
She suffered abuse and burns, that's worth something.

I dunno, didn't see any pictures... you certainly seem worked up, though- looking for a management position, perhaps?

Should the sexes be important here? You seem to imply that this is relevant...

$350.00 is the best I can do.

I really like how she did a photo shoot in her car for the interview. Really selling that payday

Yes... I think it is. This wasn't loudmouth bytch on bytch scuffling, but a grown arse man dumping hot food onto a woman strapped into her car.
It's wrong no matter who does it, but I think it makes it worse that it was both a manager and male.
