IDK Laffy General patched up Matthew McConaughey pretty good at the end of True Detectives. He was a goner for sure but yet Woody Harrelson wisked him away a few weeks later as the picture of health.

I know Dr. Kaufman pretty well, went to school together, was a patient of his, highly educated and credentialed,,,,,,if he said it, ya prolly need to believe it.
