I asked because we had a neighbor in his 70's that lost his wife. He was in the beginning stages of dementia and that with the grief of losing his wife led to some pretty strange behavior. His kids were finally contacted and they brought him to an assisted living community where he could get help and be monitored for his condition. Looking back, it really was kinda sad. He was really a nice guy before his world was turned upside down.
