Is this the reason why someone tried to book a 3k vacation on my credit card a few weeks back?

Where have you been? I locked my credit the day this announcement dropped.

Also I’ve never had identity theft problems with my WEF NWO Chase account.

I just got noticed of this. Ive been on a 6+ month journey with the crappy LA OMV to try to get my license reinstated. Tried to renew my license in another state and found out I had a unpaid ticket. Been calling, emailing, and leaving voicemails to figure out what to do. After 3months, connected with them and paid the ticket off to the DA office. Now I'm trying to connect with the OMV again to see what fees I need to pay to them.

This came out over a month ago. Makes sense that the OMV would send out official guidance today.

Yeah this is super timely notification from the OMV.

From a state organization I’m surprised we got any notice at all in 2023z

Can’t leave voicemails unfortunately. You have to call until somebody answers. It’s ridiculous, you can only resolve this issue by phone since you can’t go to the OMV office to resolve it, dumbest thing ever. Sometimes I would probably have to call 60 times before getting connected with someone

I was doing the same thing for suspension/reinstatement. Then it changed to call only after 4:30. Now you cant call to talk to someone for license suspension/reinstatement. You have to leave a message and they will "call you back when available."

For the whatever teenth time, OTS for the win. If we handled an incident this way they govt would be so far up our arse it come out our mouth. Glad they get to take a month to get their stories straight before taking the same steps they make private industry take, but exempt themselves.

Maybe a stupid question but how would they obtain your CC info? Do you have your card info stored on the OMV site?

I did have people trying to steal my CC info.

Thanks to chase finding out the identity theft people were racist. They took away their right to steal my credit card information.

Thanks chase.

Have you tried the reinstatement button on their site? I had an insurance flag bc during lockdown the payment didn’t push and I didn’t catch it, my fault. By the time I got noice it was a month or so out. When I needed to renew my registration, I went to the site, entered my info and paid the fee, done. See if that works. You can also try going to one of those title places who handle licenses and registrations. May cost a fee, but well worth it.
