Unknown. There are separate votes for amendments and for final passage. We don’t really know the sausage being made until it comes out.

Can someone summarize the weed status in Louisiana for me..
I see shops setting up around lsu.. I think they sell the fake weed stuff.. and some thc stuff???
I do not do weed but have always felt it should be legal..

None of it is "fake weed stuff" as in synthetic.
It's Delta-8 THC products which are manufactured from hemp based CBD via chemical reactions.
Then there's the normal Delta-9 THC products which are extracted from hemp via solvents. These are supposed to be identical in effect to traditional marijuana based THC.
That's my understanding at least.

There are different means of extraction but you are essentially correct. The Delta 8 drops are great for blood pressure management, and I have a prescription. The pharmacy shite is VERY expensive.

Obviously they're trying to push it through at the very last minute with thrown together amendments that no one has really thought through. I love it when proponents of a bill say that they don't know exactly how a bill or amendment is worded but "Their understanding" is XYZ. Their understanding isn't what goes into law. fricking dipshits.

It passed with a bunch of amendments. 5mg per serving. 8 servings per package. No convenience stores that sell gas except truck stops. Pressley had anamendment that would ban it from bars and restaurants that barely passed 19-18.

This is what our tax dollars were being spent arguing over, while crime rages out of control, schools in all the major cities suck, and potholes continue to swallow cars. Smh
