Forbes

quote:

Just 20 when this story publishes (she’ll turn 21 in August) and an extremely young mother (she had baby daughter Stormi in February), Jenner runs one of the hottest makeup companies ever. Kylie Cosmetics launched two years ago with a $29 “lip kit” consisting of a matching set of lipstick and lip liner, and has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since, including an estimated $330 million in 2017. Even using a conservative multiple, and applying our standard 20% discount, Forbes values her company, which has since added other cosmetics like eye shadow and concealer, at nearly $800 million. Jenner owns 100% of it.

quote:

Add to that the millions she’s earned from TV programs and endorsing products like Puma shoes and PacSun clothing, and $60 million in estimated after-tax dividends she’s taken from her company, and she’s conservatively worth $900 million, which along with her age makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.

Horry shite. This country is fricked.

Last night my kid was asking me who the richest people in the world were. So I googled the top 25. I was shocked there were several fashion or makeup related people on it. Here’s the list

Why because she made a popular product and seems to have good business sense?

I heard she’s looking to court a plant operator from the south.

Yeah I mean it sucks but good for her. She capitalized on a need and she leveraged her name and worth into becoming a billionaire. Trump more or less did the same thing. He leveraged what was given to him by his dad into a much larger portfolio. Pretty cool she did this to be honest. Good for her.

Behind every great fortune is a biracial sex tape featuring water sports.

I guess that makes dealing with your dad changing his name and dressing as a woman a little easier to deal with.

I see no problem with her earning 90% of her fortune selling a product she developed, and that millions of people want to buy.

How does that mean is America fricked, that doesn’t make sense. Hey, I think the family is kinda trashy, but Kylie making her own fortune selling high quality lipstick is fine with me.

She didn’t really make a new product. She slapped her name on colourpop lipsticks and raised the price

Because a young entrepreneur used social media to market her products and make a fortune?

Sounds like America is working the way it should.

Because she made a fortune off her name.

Her name is Kardashian/Jenner

They are some of the worst people ever plastered across a television.

Being horrible makes people want to emulate you which makes you rich.

America is fricked.

It's math.

I never said it was new, i'm sure there is some level of intelligence involved in the design / functionality / marketing for her to be that successful with it.

why you hatin'?

I don't know her circumstances or if she had a big inheritance or what but she could have just squandered it and not built it in to a make up empire. I might get aggravated when the kardashians comes on tv but it's pretty cool how they were able to grow their fame and business.

People bitch when young folks are broke and then they get salty when they make money. dafuq do yall want?

...and she'll be lucky to live through it...
