We do have evidence that he was planning for a murder well before moving to Pullman, but after he accepted an invitation to the PhD program. I still think it's incel-based and he did have something against those specific victims but the fact he was already planning something huge adds an interesting layer.

I am not sure how I would act in this situation but I don't think I would be as calmly speaking as this sweet lady. I would prob say some pretty nasty insults to him and make him feel like the loser he is...hopefully get under his skin. I assume you can say whatever you want at this thing, right? Cuz frick this dude.

No appeals and no chance of parole EVER. Once he goes in, that is where he will spend the rest of his life.

I think he can still appeal tho, from what I understand.
He cannot appeal. That was part of the agreement. They went over that when he accepted the plea during that court proceeding.

Good. I wish they would just give him the death penalty, but maybe there will be some prison justice.

A lot of judges are ok with some remarks by the speakers. But cursing and calling him evil just makes him enjoy it more.

There are several sides to the sentence. Allowing him to plea and serve the rest of his nasty life in prison avoided a trial and the families having to go through the gruesome details of the murders. However, some families wanted the possibility of a jury giving the death penalty. There was no guarantee of that. It's a tough situation.

Oh I agree… I’m sure a few of the men would love to have him alone in a room for just 5 mins…

If I had any say in how this worked, I would look at kohlberger and say, “You’re an evil man who committed unspeakable evil things. For the lives you took and in the manner in which you did, you will die a slow death of torture and pain.”

When this happened and Idaho had added the firing squad. Idaho upgraded the room for the execution.

Bring in some Sansa from GOT when she let ol Ramsey boy know what's up: "Your words will disappear. Your house will disappear. Your name will disappear. All memory of you will disappear."

Yup. He's probably thinking of what he's getting for lunch.

At first, I thought him getting life instead of being put down was for the best.. The families wouldn't have to go through it all, etc.. But then I read that one of the families wanted to see him fry and was upset about the deal and I thought they deserved to see that happen. If there was a trail, there is no doubt he would have received the death penalty (well I say no doubt but you never know with a jury).
Maybe someone in prison will take care of him, but on the other hand.. Isn't giving someone death the easy way out? I guess it all depends on what you believe what happens in the after life. If hell exist he will have a VIP pass to skip the line. If it doesn't then ending him will just mean he no longer exist which some could argue is better than prison life... Depending on the prison. Which is why I think there should be a certain level are torture that takes place.

I hope they don’t release crime scene photos.

Hopefully his imprisonment will go the Jeffrey Dahmer route, and not the Charles Mason route....

Yeh I assume those pics will stay sealed along with the autopsy reports.
