No, it doesn’t. Asking a pilot to perform maneuvers that, while frightening to passengers, the pilot can easily handle is not the same as abusing his pilot.

I'm not going to connect the dots for you as to why people are sick of hearing OP and his Kobe conspiracies paired with his history of starting awful threads

So you choose to ignore all of the evidence that goes directly against that that he's been reported all over the place?

That's fine, but don't get socket when your uniformed opinion isn't popular

Question

Do you think its relevant to the investigation that Kobe might have hot dogged it with previous pilots? Could that possibly be relevant to know in a crash where the pilot may have pushed the boundaries on what is safe and what isnt?

Not saying the pilot ultimately doesnt have final say, but I seem this would at least have relevance to the investigation

That's a nice helicopter.

Wonder how much it cost. I have no idea the cost of aircraft...

As long as you factor in other pilots of his that said he let them do their thing and was always professional.

The helicopter was one of five aircraft sold by the state in 2015, then-Gov. Bruce Rauner said at the time. The state's online auction website said the helicopter was manufactured in 1991 and sold for $515,161 in 2015. The site includes photos of both the interior and exterior of the Sikorsky-76 helicopter. After it was purchased by private helicopter transport company Island Express Holding Corporation of Van Nuys, California, the plane's tail number was changed to N72EX, according to WGN. It was also given a new paint job that included the Nike "swoosh" logo and Bryant's "sheath" insignia.

Was previously owned by the state of Illinois.

I used to work with a guy that had a jet. I remember telling that pilot that my life was totally in his hands and don’t let that mfer make him fly to see his girlfriend or something into some shite we should never be in. (I was working on two cases at the time when that clearly happened.) He was generally good about it but we flew to New Orleans one day (90 miles away so it took 10 minutes to fly there and 45 to get to damn airport ) just so he could fly into a event. On way out to beat a storm we hit huge wind shear taking off and dropped a few thousand feet and then we literally flying sideways to get back up to a safe altitude. He nearly pissed on himself, I was just pissed. We were seconds from dying.

I feel mostly sorry for his daughter and guest. They had no input on whether to fly or not. Whether Kobe pushed him to go or not, this is pilots fault.
