Any recommendations for a knee doctor in the BR area?
Old knee injury has flared up with swelling.

Bankston worked on mine years ago. Haven't had any issues since and I've used it a lot more than he recommended.

I go to BR orthopedic. I see Dr Etheredge. He's non surgical.

I have nagging knee issue from surgery and he's kept it in check.

Maybe see him and if needed he can get you to surgeon?

I saw Matthew Mosach (sp) at bone and joint. A shot in the knee and I was good to go.

IN BR..
Griffith or Easton if you are considering a total knee replacement

Bankston and Winders at the same clinic who are also great

Jeremy Burnham at Bone and Joint is relatively new, but is quickly earning a spot as one of the top ortho md's in town

If you live in the surrounding areas there are some great choices as well

Stay away from Bone and Joint. Nothing to do with the doctors but the billing department. They kept swearing they were correct but kept overcharging and had to get my insurance company involved. Then the medical account company is questioning everything making us have to go back and do a ton of legwork on something that should have been cut and dry. Don't know if it's sketch or just poor procedures but it's not worth the time.

Watch out for blood clots!!!! I had knee surgery April 1st. I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism last week after a week of shortness of breath. Lucky to be alive. Don’t mess around.

My brother in law is head of the anesthesiologists at the BR General and is in a lot of surgeries with a lot of Dr's. I needed surgery on my knee and he said to go to Dr Easton at the BR Ortho clinic. He did my surgery with out any issues. Hope this helps
