Kmarts continue to operate in Westwood, New Jersey; Bridgehampton, on New York’s Long Island, and Miami.

How the hell are they sourcing a store in Miami??

That seems really, really odd compared the other two are in the NY area.

I think all red blooded Americans should have the right to kick Eddie Lampert square in the nuts.

Ruined two great American businesses simply by bleeding them to death. Didn't even have the common courtesy to just kill them like what happened with Toys R US.

I think the last Kmart I was in was a few years ago when they closed the one in Metry by David Dr. It was the last couple of days they are open, they had boxers 90 percent off and I got a dutch oven for like $6.

My first job out of college was in management at the big K. Stayed through three promotions, then bolted. It wasn’t a bad place to work, and they were still bigger than Wally World at the time. They didn’t think they could be taken down and didn’t keep up with technology.

When i was kid, before most of you were born, we would track to K-Mart on airport in baton rouge foot which had to be several miles through woods, construction sites, drainage ditches etc just to use the new self serve drive machine which was like a quarter or less and make our own cola contraption, then hour or two back home. Good times

If we liquidated Amazon we could revive all of these stores: Kmart, Sears, Blockbuster, malls in general.

I worked at the Kmart on Florida Blvd for a few years during high school. Shittiest job I ever had.
