Reminds me of the line from the movie "Raising Arizona" when HI goes to get his first paycheck at his new job and the gal tells him "the government do take a bite, don't she."

Friend has a family member by marriage that was a huge SJW
Went back to school, got a degree & great job
Friend said it’s funny how this persons politics are changing now that the person is seeing how much is going to taxes

The same thing happened to one of my best friends. As a teen, when him and his family were on the government tit, he was all about higher taxes to pay for all the welfare programs to help people. Once he moved over to the paying side, he doesn't like helping people anymore.

Just a bunch of hypocrites.

I have always maintained that if everyone got paid in full and had to write a check BACK to the government, things would change.

I regret I can't upvote this but once.

I believe that if every taxpayer had to write a monthly check to the government for taxes, the Democrats would never win another national election.

People would also see just how much shite the government wastes money on...

You left out his agent. That's another 10% easy.

Capped at 3%. Most are getting less than that due to so much competition. Agents make a higher percentage on endorsement deals though.
