I tell mine (6) who’s daddy’s tough girl? And then she says it over and over till she stops crying.

The funny thing is…if their parents aren’t around to witness the injury, they typically don’t act nearly as dramatic about it!

Congrats on raising weaklings. My kids know that no one will help them when it gets roughy. You may as well buy a Life360 account for their pacifiers

My 15 year old liked that up until she hit 10 or 11.

For me, I pour alcohol on it. Builds up character and realigns attitude.

Next step; setting myself on fire.

Does that count as a kiss?

You had it easy; my parents' choice was Mercurochrome. So not only did I get the burning sting but my daily dose of heavy metal poisoning as well. The color it stained my skin did look like a grandmother kissed my scrape with her caked-on lipstick.

It's OK they took Mercurochrome off the market... my parents go to then became Merthiolate. My parents seemed to have been dead set on driving me to madness.
