That rule applies to South Asians (Indians and Pakistani), East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Thai, etc), Central Asians (Uighers, Turkish, tartars, uzbeks, Persians), and West Asians (Arabs, Israelis, Kurds, and Turks), though Muslims often get similar protections as blacks.
