I swear they train them to bite

I wondered the same thing. My sister has a bunch of draft crosses, none of which are remotely inclined to bite.

According to Google, these are geldings, not stallions.

I've never owned or been around a horse that was a biter.

I had an Appaloosa who was a jerk at times (but he was a fantastic horse for foxhunting). He always knew when you were going out into the pasture to catch him for a ride. If you were just going out to pet him, he'd stay put. I would go out with nothing in hand (grab his mane and he would not run). He still would know and run off. I called him (quoting the old Alpo line "canned dog food without the can."

And when the guard and the horse need to respond to something, they are now delayed because they are locked in an enclosure? The better solution would be to put up a sign and let people continue to show how stupid they are

They don't have to be locked up inside an enclosure. Just a simple barricade preventing people from approaching, taking pictures, or accessing the animal seems like it would be sufficient.

I watch the King's Guard videos often. The horses are sweet, especially to the elderly and special needs visitors but they frequently bite the Asians.

I’m sure they get super bored standing in one place for hours. I don’t blame them. These videos always make me giggle.

I’ve never had a biter either, but I’ve been around a few at the track. The cone on front of the stall is taken very seriously as they will strike quickly from the dark of the stall.

I once slapped the shite out of a goat. To be fair, he started it when he snuck up behind me and nibbled on the sensitive leg meat just behind my knee. I yelled, jumped, whirled around, and slapped the goat damn near right on top of the head. Had a nasty bruise that lasted a while. Me.....not the goat.
