I live in Belgium and my kids, ages 10, 9 and 6 have been going to school every day the last 6 months without a mask. They play together, touch each other (gasp), etc. We have only had one child in one of my kid’s classes get COVID, he stayed home and nobody else got it. The teachers wear masks and they quarantine if exposed.

The doctors agreed prior to the school year that it was more harmful psychologically for kids to be taught completely at home and they knew kids could not wear masks properly.

Just recently a study in Belgium came out that 4 in 5 kids that got COVID was not from school. So why is US requiring young kids to wear masks to school?

Bruges was a great holiday.

Cafe Delirium in Brussels was a great experience. Also loved the Peter Bruegel collection there.

Nobody needs a mask. Cases rising, can’t tell you the last time I saw someone maskless in a store or anywhere besides the gym

Yeah, love it here in Antwerp! But we’ve been here a while so planning to move back to Texas this summer though. I’m not sure I’ll be able to switch back to American beer after being here for so long.

Lmao, It’s not as glamorous as you’d think. Not bragging at all.

I know a soy boy former LSU philosophy professor who now teaches in Belgium. He’s probably lecturing you when he walks down the street. CP are his initials if any of you took his classes.

I’m insanely jealous that Belgium has a media that isn’t hellbent on destroying the country we love and medical professionals that aren’t politicians first.

I won't lie American beer far outpaces European beer unless all you want is a pilsner or trappist

Ghent is fantastic as well, I've been a big Belgium fan on the travel board after doing a month in the country and seeing several cities. I've also planned on going g back before Covid and since

Very few people in general need masks, but my kid’s school has a couple positives every week.

Because we have morons like this in our teaching population, and they are beyond reproach or scrutiny:

US has a lot of teachers who believe if they catch it they will die and this has become political
