Doing him a favor. Maybe now he'll get laid at some point. Star Wars is for nerds and losers.

couldn't wear a gun on a shirt when I was a kid either, and now all schools around here mostly have uniforms, so this wouldn't happen anyway.

When I was a kid, I remember having a GI Joe shirt that had several GI Joe characters with guns pointed forward as if they were running into battle. It was GI Joe, it wasn't even an issue. I have no research to back this up and I might be completely wrong, but it seems like the more restrictions and the more things that is made into a much bigger deal, the less kids can handle in society.
Today, we just might hear about the things that go on a lot more, but there is no question kids are more sensitive these days. More kids are accepted by their peers today, which is cool, but there are still kids who are isolated by their peers. I can go on & on, but there are some things in life that becomes a big deal only because people make it a big deal and that can have a much more negative effect.

Probably why their aim is so bad.
Interesting you say that. In Episode IV there's a scene when Obi Wan and Luke walk up to that Jawa transporter that's littered with dead Jawas. Ben Kenobi corrects Luke by saying that they were only made to think it was sand people and mentions the accuracy of the laser blasts saying, "only Imperial storm troopers are so precise."
From then on, it seems that stormtroopers are the worst aimers ever.....it's pretty damn piss-poor.

What the hell is a potential violation of the student dress code? Does that mean a kid can't wear a t-shirt that says Army, Navy of Marines since those organizations express purpose is the commission of violence?

Have these idiotic policies been challenged in court? Seems to threaten First Amendment protections, especially when the shirt is clearly advertising the movie, not advocating violence.
This is exactly right. It's a Sci-Fi fantasy movie, for Christ's sake.
Until the ghetto starts shooting each other up with lite sabers; people need to get a grip.

I always thought that was because the shots were to the gears rather than the tracks.
