That kid was being targeted for a reason. Stunt he pulled in a previous game or something that occurred outside of school.

That bigger kid needs an arse kicking, but SOMETHING led up to this. Be interesting to see if that comes to light.

1. it amazes me that after playing such a violent sport since childhood, people are dumbfounded when a line gets crossed. it's only a matter of when, not if someone snaps.

2. you named the kid jagger, he's always going to have a target on his back.

3. the offending kid should sit out the rest of the season in all sports

I see personal fouls, possibly worthy of ejection(s). Really up to the referee.

I do not see assault.

So you don’t see one player choking the other while he’s on the ground and then you also don’t see that player’s head get slammed into the ground? It’s too early to be drinking.

If that was my son, I'd be on the field after the second attack

“That chick was wearing a skirt way too short and it was way after midnight”

That piece of shite should have been dealt with. His teammates and coaches are pussies for not doing anything.

You must have missed the last video where the player choked and punched the other player.

Shame on the officials for not getting a handle on it during the prior 2 incidents during the game.

News article

quote:

Gower can’t forget what she saw on the night of Sept. 13. Her son, Jagger, was playing for Burleson High School in a freshman game when he was hit and choked by #76 from Waco University High School. His head was repeatedly slammed into the ground.

“If this is allowed to happen, then it’s going to happen to somebody else,” she said.

The mother believes her son was targeted by players from the opposing team during kickoffs.

“I’ve been told it's because he was a quarterback, but I’m not satisfied with that answer,” she said.

Gower is not satisfied because Jagger, who plays special teams, was one of two Burleson quarterbacks who played that night. She said the other player was left alone.

In another video, Jagger is targeted and laid out by #18. And during another play, #76, the same player who would later choke Jagger, tackled him and then held onto him. When he finally let go, it appears another player punched Jagger to knock him down.

quote:

According to the UIL spokeswoman, the league can impose a longer suspension but has not in this case.

Waco ISD said it has imposed additional consequences against the player, but it’s unclear what those are.

Sounds like the UIL and Waco ISD thought this would go away, and now they don't know what to do.

Looks like the bigger guy got the worst of the hit, and went over backwards, then flipped the smaller guy under him, landed on top of the smaller player. Looks like bigger player was trying to get up and player on his back had hold of his jersey. Then kicks his nuts, big guy slams his head!
Lmao at you idiots that say he is "choking" him. Assault??? fricking really? the entire basis of the game is assault!!!! You soft liberal powder puffs truly need a pair of testicles!

You don't get that kind of rage and targeting on a single player just because. If you can't see that and understand that he didn't derserve it, you're stupid at frick.
