That woman is a saint and did a service to everyone else in Kentucky.
Too bad the owners are still with us.

I'd be in jail for murder if that were me.

Anyone who lets dangerous breeds wander is a detriment to society. Owners need to be charged.

My step grandmother was attacked by a pit bull in her backyard. It jumped the fence. She coded like three times but survived. She was in her own backyard and went to start a edger and it jumped over and nearly killed her.
The owners of the dog, wanted the dog back I shite you not. No apologies just wanted their fricking dog back.

I have fostered two pit bulls. My .02 pit bulls if raised by responsible people are one of the most loyal & smart breeds. If you raise them as puppies with other pets they can get along with other pets. Now speaking with experience with pits that were taken in by a rescue these dogs are very dominant alpha and can have predator like tendencies if not controlled. We have smaller breed dogs and cats and you can just see the predator instincts kick in when they see a cat or a smaller breed if they weren't raised around them. They just get this stare in their eyes. They can be trained too not attack but you have to be persistent and willing to work with them when those bad instinctive traits kick in. Pit bulls can be family dogs and can be very protective. The right situation and the right owners these are great dogs. Unfortunately this breed seems to always land with POS shite owners that treat them wrong and raise them wrong and their natural instincts get them killed or gets innocent people killed.
Eta: my experience with pitbulls geezous all these experts that haven't even been around one or taken care of any

I have never seen or heard of a pit owner that wasn't complete trash.
I have 2 friends who have pits. 1 is a trump voting trash. The other is a more educated dude......but may be a trump voter....... But both pits are super friendly. For what that's worth.

The a-hole owners of the vicious dogs need to serve a long prison sentence for either negligent homicide or manslaughter. The next thing that needs to happen is for the U.S. to implements laws banning vicious breeds of dogs such as England instituted years ago. These instances of people being mauled and killed by pit bulls are happening way too often.

That does not surprise me. Most owners of pit bulls I have met seem to have a screw loose.

I don't think alot of the trump voting owners are the problem here. Seems like alot of these owners vote democrat since you seem to have a political view point here.

Out here where I live breeds like pit bulls, Rottweiler, etc are forbidden.

It’s funny how other dog breeds when not raised right aren’t going around mauling people’s faces off.

There are you just won't see it on the news or read about it. I agree with many on here arrest the owners and this breed should be only allowed to be owned by responsible owners not these POS owners.

They’re all great dogs until they attack someone. “They’ve never done that before! IDK what happened!!!”
No sh*t huh?

I own two golden retrievers and two chiwawa's but we foster other dogs on occasion. The pit bulls we took in got along great with our goldens and acted better at the dog parks then our goldens and chiwawa's.

Look I am not trying to defend all pit bulls hell I don't own one and probably never will but most of the time the ones that attack or kill people are the ones owned by shitty owners.

Your bullshite logic is flawed why do you have to raise them with other pets or from a puppy ? Because I can go adopt a 7yo lab that wont kill anything.
