You'd think she would want to lay low and pray that nobody thinks to remember her and compare her to her TX counterpart.

Pretty stupid. Let's evacuate 6.5 million people. Guess we could give everybody a number like Baskin-Robbins and start the process two months ago.

What's with all the idiots who mishandled Katrina bashing the ones handling Harvey?

The Harvey response has been great and death tolls should end up being minimal for such a large disaster.

The only one to bash right now is the Houston mayor, but he is still better than Nagin

Unreal. How dare her come out of her hole & even comment on this situation. What a complete & utter idiot. She should know her role.

They should have her and Brownie on a first take-style debate show giving us their opinions on what Houston should have done better to prepare for the hurricane. Maybe Tosh can put it together as a web redemption

But the important question is " What to wear " during the hurricane. # stayin fashionat allcosts.

She probably wonders why, almost a week after landfall, that Houston isnt still having closed door meetings on how to respond.

I really wish these public officials would get checked harder for dumbarse statements like this. Houston has too many people to evacuate on that short of notice. There's no telling how many people would have died stuck in traffic, and the people that needed to evacuate would have been stuck anyway.

There are always things that can be improved looking back, but I think Turner has done a great job all things considered.

Well to be fair they have a playbook based on Katrina and Sandy...FEMA rewrote their regs based on what was learned from those storms. Lots of preparation was learned from those experiences.

The Houston mayor has no clue!
He expects to have city back up and running on Tues with schools and the Astros back this weekend.

Where is the help from Austin and Dallas in all of this. Their schools are about to see an influx.

This is all just beginning for Houston.
Wait until Houston traffic gridlock.
