I hope not. I have a buddy that could get us past blocked off areas in Shreveport and was down there seeing the sights today and on the way back I went down the road to Cash Point and got up on the levee there and it was pretty bad inside there. Those houses in the picture above can't be much more than a quarter or half mile north of where I was. I can't imagine a scenario where they don't have water in them.

My wife has a second home in river bluff, please pray for the well being of our infinity pool. We don't want the rest of our summer ruined.

A little too much glee around here for successful folks that have lost their homes this week. I guess that is America these days. Not so long ago, seeing a nice home or a nice car would make someone think "I need to work hard so I can have a car or a house like that." Now it's just "Screw that rich guy. I hope he drowns."

Lots of folks have helped out with our sand bagging and moving furniture. I think some people want to see it flood because they hate that I have worked the last 5 years after my father gave me the family business. Honestly we do not use the house except to have a few party's. We have everything meaningful mostly out. thank you guys for the well wishes

I know you are trolling. Just not sure what the point of your trolling might be.

BTW, the plural of party is parties, not party's.

You make no sense.

None of your posts make sense.

It is like a raccoon broke into your house and is hitting keys on your keyboard trying to reach the Oreos.

I grew up in Shreveport. Love my hometown. Have thought about retiring there. I don't wish flooding or harm on anybody, because I've been on the wrong side of it. But let me tell you.... People up there always sorta viewed flood protection as a South Louisiana problem. I have been in New Orleans for 20+ years, and I can't tell you how many times I was told while evacuating, "I don't know how you live down there." North Louisiana legislators for years opposed commitment of state dollars to South Louisiana flood protection. They usually lost, if only because of the population disparity. But I find it interesting that they are now underwater (especially those who thumbed their noses at the river and built on the wrong side of the levee) and they are acting like victims. Welcome to my life.

This is how the East Coaster and West Coasters are. You see them bitching about people living in Tornado alleys, mid-westerners living in flood plains, etc. And they bitch and complain about having to save these people, but man, if anything happens to their areas, oh frick, the country should get down on its knees and give every penny it has, and feel so sorry for them.

I see their nasty comments every time the Mississippi river floods, tornado hits.

You built your house on the wrong side of the levee and now you want people to feel sorry for you. you got conned by some shiatsu home builder into making a stupid mistake. No big deal.

Half of those people in River Bluff have bank accounts large enough to make us pass out, example: Dr Wall.

They have "frick you" money. They are not worried about pity or a little first floor water damage. Im sure a few of them are riding out the flood in their summer houses a few states away.
