And eye protection if they're smart, I was just mowing my yard on a riding lawnmower and came next to a tree, blades hit an acorn which hit the tree, then ricocheted directly to my right eye.
Probably looked like a ghost punched me off the lawnmower. Since that day, shop glasses or I'm at least wearing large shades no matter what.

Go buy a pair of shaded safety glasses. After I saw what they can withstand I wear them all the time for all yard work.

Sounds like you just did.
If SRV statue can wear one for the pandemic so can your lawn crew. Here in FL they were doing it before covid, especially the guys with the two stroke leaf blowers. No one wants to breathe in that crap.
