How could all 12 people not agree on a Not Guilty verdict? There’s more reasonable doubt in the states case than there is reasonable belief.
Because there are good people, although also gullible and naive, that believe any narrative that authorities push.

I have no doubt she was saying “did I hit him” and these losers twisted it against KR.

I would think the jury wants to wrap this up before the holiday this week.
It has to be one or two jurors that are holding out that don't want to return a not guilty for whatever reason.

I really wish I would've started keeping us with this from the beginning.

The judge just gave the jury the Tuey-Rodriguez instruction and sent them back. If they come back again, she will declare a mistrial.

So I'm listening to a podcast and they've only done this beginning part of the trial, but they are usually pretty down the middle.
My questions are, how is the defense rectifying all the people she seemingly said " I hit him"? Also, how are the explaining the busted tail light pieces at the scene?

quote:Are you asking about the prosecution? That's the part that's most convincing to me for not-guilty. We know she backed into a vehicle. We know the light was only cracked at one point. And, we know the pieces were only found on the second search, after some of the cabal had been in close contact with the vehicle.
Also, how are the explaining the busted tail light pieces at the scene?

It doesn't sound like the jury is going to change based on articles saying they told the judge they are "deeply divided".

Agreed. I have seen some commentators say the State will absolutely retry the case if a mistrial. I find that hard to believe.

The jury's note said they are "fundamentally divided on difference of opinion and state of mind".
From reports inside the court room one of the jurors was acting noticeably different during the new juror instruction read. Kind of sounds like that juror may be the loan holdout.

At the very least, they should find out what the votes were if they can get that information, before making a decision.

Very concerning but that's a major boon for KR

Mistrial has been declared.

hate this for KR. I'm sure some in the community will still say she did it.
maybe the feds will turn up something that affects how this case proceeds?

None of this happens without King Alcohol.

now Proctor can go find the real killer.
ETA: This is not a W for Karen. CW will run it back so she is not free yet.
The fact still remains that JO was NOT killed by a car so this should be the end of it. Corrupt Canton won't let it be and is out to get KR.

This is certainly a W. And the remaing jury pool is now tainted since the media has been beating the police corruption drum for weeks now.

The DA released a statement that they do intend to retry the case.

It'll to be interesting to see if the feds do anything in the meantime.

I hope we find out what the votes were and the issues they were stuck on.
