Scott Adams said he is a genius and would make a great President. I was surprised.

I think he is autistic or something. He is clearly a smart dude. Some of the shite he said made a lot of sense, some of the stuff he said you questioned and other stuff he just goes off the reservation.

i don't like rap at all but Kanye stuff for some reason hits right with me. i can kinda get into Kendrick Lamar, RTJ, and Travis Scott on occasion, but as a whole it's a genre I don't care for outside of Kanye's.

If you like them do you like Lucas Joyner?

I made it through about two hours then turned it off. It was like that scene from Billy Madison during the Academic Decathlon, "May God have mercy on your soul".

Nothing made sense. He either did ALOT of drugs back in the day, or is mentally disabled.

He could never do Rogan. Trump has to have a platform where he is in control. He wants to control the conversation and the format of Rogan's show wouldn't work for him.

Who you like tigergirl? You a Lucas Joyner fan? You seem more like a Chance the Rapper fan.

Yeah.. But I don't think it is drugs. Well, not illegal drugs. I think I read one time that he takes medicine and sometimes when he is doing an album (his or other people's) he will stop taking them.

He definitely has a mental disorder.

Wrong as usual. All the interviews I've seen with Trump he doesn't try to control the conversation. He may go off-topic or into a rant while answering a question, but he always stops and allows the interviewer to dictate the line of questioning.

I don't know if I would call it a mental "disorder." He is clearly an intelligent person. You can tell during any in-depth interview he has tons of things going through his head at all times, and he might have a tough time stringing his words together sometimes. I guess technically that is a bit of a mental disorder. But, he knows his shite and comes across as a legit genuine person and has the best intentions. I used to think he was 100% crazy, but I respect the guy. He is certainly more genuine than 99.9% of any politician out there.

How long is it?

It's long. Pushing 3hrs. And trying to follow Kanye's train of thought makes it feel longer, but I couldn't stop listening

To say that I'm an immigrant to Kanye's music would be an understatement. I'm not in the demo and I dont listen to kuch hip hop at all, but I do find the guy fascinating. If some dont think he's intelligent then I dont know what you're watching. He's extremely bright, and he's all over the board but there are some real gems in this interview if you stick around.

I will say this… Rogan has a way of humanizing anybody like I've never seen before. Makes a guy like Kanye be accessible to a guy like me. It's a pretty astonishing gift.

well youre not a doctor thats pretty obvious lmao. kanye described mania, and his thought process reflects that. he was placed on a mood stabilizing medication that caused weight gain.

thats called flight of ideas, often seen in people with mania (bipolar). I wasnt aware of how incoherent his thought processes and content were before, but this interview highlighted it.

I watched the whole thing yesterday. I love Kanye. I grew up listening to his music and have loved and enjoyed every album he’s ever put out.

I will say I thought the interview got better after the 2 hr mark. I think he’s a creative genius, but he’s also unhinged. He also contradicts himself a lot. He talks about money not meaning anything, but he’s also super concerned that people know he’s worth 5 billion dollars now.

FWIW I did like a lot of his ideas on building a sustainable community in Calabasas, but some of it sounds cultish. In closing, just because you make dope music and tennis shoes doesn’t mean you should be the President.

I have ADHD and trust me, that is the least of the problems with Kanye.

I have to say, there is one thing I agree with Kanye on 100%. The star wars prequels are better than the originals and that once Disney bought the Star War franchise it stopped becoming creative and they just plugged in their formula. Basic story line just to keep the franchise going so they can cash in on it.

The podcast with Boosie and Tyson was legit touching. Mike put Boosie into his place, and you could tell by the look on his face that he truly felt what Mike was saying. Hopefully he takes it to heart.

I had to stop listening. Kanye just rambles and has a problem completing a thought.

I don't get why everyone calls Kanye crazy, he seems more stubborn and ADHD-like to me. As in he takes an idea and runs a million miles an hour with it, and then 2 minutes later he's on the next thing. If you listen to the podcast a lot of the things Kanye talks about are intriguing and would probably be good for society. Obviously he's not an esteemed engineer or some math genius, but he does have extremely smart people working for him.

During the podcast, he lists things such as developing a sustainable community, creating a missionary, a church, and even a school for gospel singers. The decline of Christianity in America is talked about a lot on this board. Do you not think that Kanye being called to this service will bring about thousands of conversions?? He is bringing the celebration of God back into pop culture. It is an undeniable good what Kanye is doing. And now other figures in pop culture are finding the courage to do what Kanye does. I'll agree that Kanye doesn't have the book smarts that he thinks he does, but you can never tell me he isn't a genius.
