Look I'm on the right and I've done none of that. I'm very tolerant of the opinions of my left leaning family and friends. But I've seen the left do exactly what you describe for us and there is no doubt about it. What is your goal? Do you want to silence us and beat us into complaint submission so you can rule forever?

That "one persons" motive is one of the leaders and a founder of BLM. If his opinion doesn't help describe the objectives of the movement, who the frick does?

It boggles my mind that liberal media is shocked that this happened. Seriously, people are out there setting fires, rioting, etc. And now they’re shocked that fans that can afford tickets to a limited capacity game don’t want to continue to have a forced agenda?

These people are dumber than I thought.

“They” can’t fathom the idea that the 45+ % of the people that will vote Trump exist and a majority have nothing to do with racism.

They can’t fathom that plenty of liberals are tired of this over reach in reality.

They also can’t accept that Biden has every racist gene that Trump does with plenty of background to back it up.

There it is. There’s the attention I wanted. Thank you.

eta: 14 pages now. I look forward to hearing about how little the OT cares about the NFL in the coming weeks.

The emphasis on the traffic stop is stupid. It's a relic of a time when motor travel was the province of rich adventurer types. Do you think people on horseback were getting pulled over in the 19th Century? The whole concept is anathema to our original guiding principles.

That is asinine. Are you high?
quote:

Too much ordinary conduct has been criminalized. Smoking dope, driving 85 miles per hour on the interstate, and frankly even driving after a couple of beers should not be the province of the police

Isn’t that more of a legislative issue rather than an over-policing issue? Police don’t make laws.
quote:

The mores of the black community are even more disconnected from the laws given to the cops to enforce than the mores of the white community are. It should not be a crime to possess guns and marijuana at the same time. That is ordinary, ethical conduct in a lot of places. Fighting in school should not result in police involvement.

So because black People cant follow laws the laws should be changed to reflect conduct that black people are capable of following?

there's rioting in the streets

There’s often rioting in the streets for all sorts of reasons or none at all.

Rioting is not a self-authenticating act, i.e., “hey look they’re rioting...it must be for a good cause then.”

Brainless fricktard.

You people are so against this when they're trying to do this during the riots.

One the other note, they are upholding order by herding animals into following the law. It's not a hard concept.

Yes, that's 100% right. The police do not have enough discretion to fix broken laws.

Yes, which conduct a society chooses to make criminal should reflect a shared understanding of what ordinary behavior looks like, vs. criminal behavior. That has completely broken down in the USA. Pot is probably the best example, but I'd also point to things like insider trading laws and obscure EPA and IRS violations.

I'm not high and I'm not stupid. I'm very socially conservative, but I'm also enough of a lateral thinker to see that we've basically created a gang of people who sit around in air-conditioned cars and play real-life GTA all day, on the taxpayer dime. It's coming to an end, whether you like it or not.

Frick BLM, though.

There's no "you people" here that includes me. The cops should beat the crap out of those BLM and Antifa rioters. If they can't, they should let ordinary citizens do it.

Hell, they can mow them down with machine gun fire for all I care. Wouldn't miss them.
