My haircutting chick set me up on a date with her friend a while ago. Unbeknownst to me, the girl had short hair. A couple of minutes into it, I asked her why she had short hair. She said she felt like it and I told her short hair is for guys. I then pointed out all of the other women in the restaurant with long hair, and she called me an a-hole and left.

I'm shocked.
I hate short hair on women and it looks ugly as hell but...
You're not important to her and she can do whatever she wants. Sometimes you just need to keep your opinions to yourself when you're around people you barely know and definitely don't comment on their personal tastes when you're on a date with that person if its negative unless you don't want to date that person anymore.
If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything unless you want to start some shite.
