I guess Biden was unaware of how smoothly everything went when Landrieu was in charge of the Sewage and Water Board infrastructure and the colossal waste of money that was discovered with the losers he appointed who did nothing and how millions of dollars did not go where they were supposed to in order to make improvements.
He tried to act shocked, but his dumb arse was head of the board as the mayor. shite hit the fan when people around here found out he was vacationing in Colorado whole they were swimming in their houses in New Orleans after a typical hard rain.

There’s already a Secretary of Transportation. That’s his job. It’s a cabinet level position for a reason.
Transportation and infrastructure are vital components of our economy, and critical to the overall health, unity, and safety of a large and diverse nation. A president can’t just hire a political crony to oversee it.
But this money isn’t coming from the usual budgetary process that forecasts and allocates money years in advance. It’s an emergency spending and stimulus bill, so the usual oversight and rules don’t apply.
