Holy crap, that was boring. And long. And easy.

I guess it's because many of the people who take this class and serve alcohol are not very bright?

This is for Louisiana.

Any other O-Ters have done this? No, I don't plan on working at a bar. Our youth sports program concession stand is going to start selling beer, and our entire board was told we had to take the class.

Tech savvy servers should put their Venmo info on the check.

20+ times in a myriad of states around the country

its virtually the same exact shite no matter what state, the same course, the same test. The worst part is that you are mandated to sit thru the entire online course, you cant just skip to the test

thats the painful part

Not only that... this thing had 267 screens, and the vast majority of them had a clock that required you to wait so many seconds before you could advance to the next slide. So if the clock was 30 seconds, even if it took you 5 seconds to read the info... you had to wait.

It took almost 3 hours end to end. I could have done it in an hour, tops, if I didn't have to wait.

Or because it was created by state workers in one of the worst run state governments in the country and they created it on a 2 cent budget?

I've done it. Boring beyond belief. I had the flu, felt like garbage, attention span and reading ability were iffy. Passed it. Did it to help out a baw who had to meet a deadline to turn in a server permit for a party.

The online classes have a ton of info that does not apply to responsible serving. One I took has me learn the parts of the limbic system. For fricks sake that won't help me identify when someone has been over served

Serving alcohol at youth sports events is a good idea?
