I don't know. I used to see more of them but not lately.

The only ones I ever see driving around are the base model Ghibli's

The country must be rich again. Are there any janitors out there that need a 400k+ home loan?

There are nicer mid/small SUV's in the price range of the Jag F-pace in my opinion. We kind of looked, but my wife didnt even want to stop at the dealership. Next door neighbor has one and I think it looks okay, but not great.

I saw one on Sunday in New Orleans on Broadway. I thought to myself the same thing. I didn't even know Maserati made SUVs.

I was looking at one in miami in a rich mall. They had one on the floor along with almost every luxury brand to look at. It was alright.
Saw a lot of rare vehicles down in miami that I don't see in ohio

Are Maserati's still completely unreliable?

Yes, very and a huge reason resale is atrocious.

The OG top gear guys were reviewing a Maserati Quadraporte. May said "There's probably 12 engineers at Mercedes that figure out where to put a button. In a Maserati, you get the impression that some Italian comes in on a Tuesday and says 'here, here is good'"

that's one hell of a towing bill.

I know some cars are better than others, but seriously, how many times have you had a car disabled to the point of needing a tow to a dealership?

They are beautiful pieces of shite...

Have friends whom owned Quattropates, Grand Sports and Gran Turismos and all have been shite. It's not just the poor engineering, it's the fit and finishe, door handles falling off after 800miles, etc. Their transmissions are notoriously bad.

I think the Ferrari dealership in Dallas is also a Maserati one. Boardwalk i think its called.

Aren't Ferrari and Maserati related in some way?

They do, and yes they are sister companies. Maserati engines are derived from Ferrari. Which is a blessing and a curse.

Yes, they ride like shite but I did my test drive in Boston at the end of the winter and that means even more potholes than La, if that is even possible.

I super excited about it and was going to pull the trigger on one and was left feeling very unimpressed. I actually prefer the volvo sc90 to the Levante

Looks like it belongs in a James Bond movie.

ha, will never happen... well it won't be Bond's. MI6 is loyal to the Brits. Many Aston Martin DB5's, several Lotus Esprits (the underwater car was an Esprit), Sunbeam, Bently, Rolls, exceptions: a few BMW's, that real early white 2000GT roadster before most even heard of a Toyota, but can't see Bond in an Italian "vettura".
