I like to turn on my radio so it will fade out as I get into the tunnel. It doesn't take much to amuse me.

I do the same lol.

The state and the city are in the works to build a bridge over the Mobile River soon. They will leave the tunnels open, but the majority of the traffic will go over the bridges on to a new/expanded eight lane bayway across Mobile Bay.

As a previous poster stated, its usually smarter and faster to go over the Africa town bridge to cross the river.

I like to stop in the middle and take out a sign that says, "Scientology Saves! To be One, ask One!"

It certainly isn't to cut a big smelly one just as I am going into the tunnel!

The past three years we have strung lights up on the Eastern shore entrance at Christmas. We recently converted to Islam though, so this year we thought a 55 gallon drum of ANFO detonated on the first day of Ramadan would be festive.

While we all understand the joke, this could potentially not end well for you.

I rarely use the Wallace Tunnel anymore b/c it's usually during Summer and 10 is a clusterfrick there. Traffic maps make it an easy decision to bypass.

And not a single mention of chugging two beers before getting to the other side?
