Just How Big of A Threat is the Sex Trade Industry?

I saw this FB post posted on twitter.
There has been more awareness about this over the past several years, but not knowing anyone who has any personal experience with the situation, I don't really know if its that big of a problem.. Especially anywhere in Louisiana.

Very, very rare.

Most sex trafficking is eastern European women and Asians. So if your whore has an accent, it might be the case. But kidnapping Americans seems pretty rare.

My first thought is that its probably a mother blowing shite out of proportion, but at that same time, because of the awareness there is on the sex trade I am just not sure. Personally, I don't see many, if any at all, stories of girls being captured for the sex trade, but that doesn't mean there isn't any. When I think of the sex trade, I am thinking of girls taken from 3rd world countries and forced into it.

Sex Trafficking is becoming bigger and bigger in Knoxville over the last few years. It's a lot more prevalent than a lot of people think.
There was a sting two weeks ago in Knoxville that netted 31 people involved in Human sex trafficking.
2 were youth ministers and 1 was a fireman.
Think about that.
