If I understand correctly, he was making the u-turn just north of Chef to get on Chef and head west. Is it possible that the other driver changed lanes in or too close to the Chef/Dowman intersection?

The truck in the middle lane was passing me as I merged into the right lane. Didn't switch lanes or speed up, that I can recall.

E used to have his own bottled water with his picture on it and other E souvenirs.
He gave me a "Flush Brady" tshirt at an LSU basketball game. Think I still have it.
