The shooting happened around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Sora Street and Tern Street. News 2s Earl Phelps witnessed a person being loaded into an ambulance around 1:30 p.m.
Sources said a 17-year-old victim was in stable condition upon transport. Phelps was on campus getting reaction to the arrest in the murder of Wayde Sims when he heard gunshots.
A second shooting was reported earlier around 10:00 a.m., but BRPD said that report was "unfounded" and no injuries were reported.

It weirds me out to realize how many Baton Rougeans with sub-75 IQ scores are walking around with glocks. Dumb asses as far as the eye can see. I don’t view them so much as predators as just really, really stupid. And mix that with absolute moral bankruptcy and you get people getting dropped like flies everywhere.
