Wouldn't say flawlessly... just messing around with it and you have to try it a few different ways to get it work...
Hard to explain unless you just have the thing in front of you, but basically, you can move it upright and recognize your face... swipe up (fastest by far) and have it recognize your face... or hit the button on the side and have it recognize your face.
Seems more efficient in that sense at the moment.... but I cannot wait for this shite to not work in a few months after it gets some use...

Never, because when I hit the home button to turn on the screen with my thumb, it reads my fingerprint and voila, my phone is unlocked instantly.

I'm really just being facetious if you couldn't tell... we handle money pretty well... but the wife was insistent on the new iPhones. I knew they would be not much of an upgrade, and I was right.
