She's cheating on you with at least one of these alphas. Sorry, honey.

When I think of how things are today, and how things were when I started working ... I can't believe we did the shite we did. Glad I'm not starting out in the working world today; they've starched all the fun out of coming to the office.

first thing I thought too. My women dont wear the pants. They dont wear pants at all actually. I make them walk around either bottomless or in a thong. It keeps their mind right.

I said the reason they're so rare is that they're usually in those fields. Take it easy. Still falls under #6.

Cool.

nah. If you're personable and competent at your job, a woman can rise just as easily as a man. The problem is most women in the work place are illogical and emotional creatures and then feel slighted when they're passed over, even when it was a good reason.

I do agree, though, that it is difficult for a woman to raise the bar as there is a significant amount of entrenched reluctance by many men to allow a woman to be leader.

They would rather just call her "honey" and dismiss her, much as the OP did.

you come across as a huge betafag right now

How is what the OP said "dismissing" in any way?

I see we have a subscriber to the "superwoman/you go girl!!11lolz" rhetoric.

Sounds like you want a cookie for your wife doing what many business people in the world do---succeeding and being competent.

In the words of Chris rock, "That's what you're supposed to do!"

Even if she snapped, her yelling "I'M NOT HONEY" is hardly getting your arse chewed. She told you firmly not to use inappropriately familiar nicknames with her. So don't. If you can't handle that, it's probably your fault.

Sexual Harrassment in the Workplace

My opinion? Anyone who thinks being called "Honey", albeit a lame thing to call someone, needs to be tied up and dragged down a gravel road behind a pickup truck.
