We went to the boudin and bacon festival in Lafayette yesterday. Format of paying for food was clever. Food good .Kids had fun on with the free activities. Parking not too bad. Only gripe was the live music. Actual music itself was fine, its the idiot who decided that volume 11 was perfect. Nothing like having to yell into someone's ear to talk no matter where you were in the festival.

Also, I wasn't aware that Laffy had so many alphabet people.

Crowley Rice Festival I assume.

Honestly do not know if another Louisiana town claims “Rice Capitol” status.

Crowley Rice Festival Lions Club hamburgers FTW. Probably awful by adult standards but if I have one I feel 14 again. And it’s delicious to my 14 year old brain.

Stay on the band side. Avoid the carny rides side.

I have to say it was the best free parish fair that I’ve ever been to.

Its hard to find things to do spending an entire week at a Disneyland resort, much less camping at the Washington Parish fair.

God Bless you Baw

I wouldn’t say it’s a Cajun fair. Washington parish is an abyss. Not south of I-10, just pine trees and a few ruffians with bad aim. But I got a few spots carved out where I can be me.
