That was their business model, really. People went there because it was expensive.

People were buying status, and to a point moral virtue with their fair trade, organic, natural, eco-friendly, sustainable, humane products.

Those people are fricking retards.

In before the standard OT comment that their grocery store has all of the same products as WF at half the price.

You've obviously never been to Reeve's.

I don't give them my business anymore because they don't allow open carry in their stores.

Because I open carry?

I'm not going to even reason with your democratic self as to why I open carry.

I can't help I'm Asian dude.

Wait til you get a call from your wife (boyfriend in your case) saying they witnessed an armed robbery. It will make you want to be prepared .

I hope you're put in that situation one day and there is nobody around carrying to help you. Youre the type of puss that is against arming yourself but as soon as you get robbed or arse whipped ( which I'm sure happened to you a lot) runs to the cops, who happen to carry guns.

I don't mind spending an extra $50 a week on groceries in order not to deal with the low life at Walmart. Although, it is fun to go to Walmart about once every few months to make me feel better about myself. I'm paying for every third person's groceries there anyway with their fricking EBT cards.

I love WF, but some of their prices were redic. $14 for a small portion of frozen tuna? No thanks.

My second or third trip to whole foods (metairie) was bc some friends were in town and wanted to go. I offered to cook dinner (shrimp/spinach pasta-it was yummy). I was going to get shrimp at whole foods... yeah it was like 17 dollars a pound. Walked to rouses next door and spent 5 bucks a pound, and it was fresh out the gulf.

I told my friends we got over three times the meat because i wasnt a snob.

Absolutely.

It's something I admired about Burkle. He was fleecing these people, and they were grateful.

Burkle? I'm guessing he laughed all the way to the bank.
