You've never been to Denver, Seattle or LA, I see.

LA is obviously famous for smog, though it has improved greatly.

Not sure about Seattle, but Denver and LA both get the inversion layers that contribute to bad air quality. Nothing to do with politics, everything to do with mountain weather

Hong Kong air isn't that bad. Beijing and Shanghai on the other hand....

Delhi for the win - schools were closed, flights cancelled because of poor visibility, only 1/2 of the cars allowed to drive each day, all construction projects halted. A day in Delhi last week was the equivalent of smoking 20 cigarettes.

The air in Baton Rouge looks better than the air in Los Angeles. The first time I went to LA, I was surprised by the amount of air pollution they had. It might have just been a bad day or something, but you could just see it over the city as we flew down to it.

Yep.

Doesn't let the air mix with the stuff above. Keeps all the pollution near the ground and typically this happens with light surface winds.

So shite air quality.

bullshite!

I been to Col. several times.

Nice fresh air but not much better than B.R./cancer alley.

No jobs where that air was fresh.
