I've been down that road and it certainly wasn't easy. Prayers sent to you and your family.

Sorry meauxjeaux. He is not alone. I am 4 years into my fight and have stage 4 prostate cancer with bone mets. Look at some of Dr. Snuffy Myers' videos. He a PCa survivor and has been successful treating men with advanced PCa. He tries combination treatments that work for his patients. HealingWell dot com has a great prostate cancer forum. Family support and the grandkids are so important! I will pray for your whole family.
i'm glad you decided to post in the thread. You sound like you have a very good head and your positive thoughts on this is very refreshing.Prayers from my family to you Athenstiger.

Regardless of what happens next, good or bad, good hopefully, if there is anything that you want to do with/for him, sort of a buckets list thing, do it now. I waited till my father was too sick to do what he really wanted to do before he died. That still sticks in my craw 15 yrs later.

The brutal side of life is overly difficult to deal with. I admire any and all that are strong enough to deal with the dark side of life. My world would come crumbling down quick if it happened to certain loved ones of mine. Hope your dad stays strong and your family has the strength to help support him.
