I have a maid and by no means lazy. I just don't have time to clean and have the spare cash to spend to pay someone else to do it. Why you so mad at him for having a maid, cuz?

I've never heard of a 4 story house.

Sounds like you need 3 maids. Maybe that's why she brings her kids.

Eta; oh he means one of those townhomes.

So you a have a policy of "Don't bring your kids over to my house, unless that tax-deductible Petri dish has some unidentified disease floating around in him, then bring the little fellow over and have him touch all my stuff"?

Why do you have a maid? Are you incapable of cleaning after yourself?

What are you poor? I keep my place clean and then have a maid dust and keep my place extra tip top. Women love the clean pad and that I don't get on my hands and knees while doing it.

If you trust her you need to ask that she not bring them, if she has a problem drop her...you need to use....

Well it is a 3 story house with an English style basement.

I will ask her to switch to an earlier time so the kids will be in school first, but this is about her hiding it from me.

So you're cool with someone breaking your shite, as long as she has kids?
1. That has nothing to do with your heartwarming post.

2. He made an assumption that the kids were breaking shite. Clearly he didn't have a problem with the broken items until the kids were revealed. He's firing someone on an assumption.

It's not just about "picking up your own shite". Mine cleans the floors, dust, cleans the bathrooms, etc...

You know, "shite" that just takes time out of my weeknights and weekends. I feel that the money I spend on the maid is well worth my free time during those times. To each their own tho...

I don't understand those who make a mess of themselves and can't clean it up. Great example.

If your wife learned how to clean, you could fire the maid. And if you learned how to frick, your wife could fire the gardener.

Easy there big guy. I found the same thing out and am letting it slide. Every time I see the kids they are sitting still looking at a book/iPad/something like that.

I figure if she has to put them in daycare the rate will climb. Nothing gets broken and no harm from my experience.

The SO is learning how to become a pharmacist instead, but I hope the divorce goes well for you.

I walked in the door and the kids were running around my dining room table though.

I guess that is dependent on how you are defining "very".
