Haven't really questioned a lesbian, but know a few gay dudes, including one that is family. They all say it is kinda just ingrained into them that you are either a top or bottom. You don't decide, you just are one or the other and you try to find someone who is the other part of that. Probably the same for women.

That's actually a decent question. I've wondered what makes men want to buttfrick other men when there are perfectly viable pussy holes to pound.
