Saying a prayer for you. Sorry to hear.

Pretty much exactly how it works
My person was at MD Anderson in the 90's and got drugs that were not available in other large metros for another 5 years at least. Extended their life by over a decade so I would tend to disagree with you strongly. Granted this was about 20 years ago and things might have changed but I am willing to guess not as it seems a few places get treatments well ahead of everybody else.
One thing I can say tho with absolute certainty is some of the best docs I have ever dealt with when the sh*t hit the fan were the most humble and the ones who were the most arrogant often turned out to be the worst docs. While I understand my statistical draw pool was small, but it did seem significant.

You are speaking generally. I am speaking about primary brain tumors. I am living it every day. I have talked to every doctor who will listen to me. There is one standard of care, period.

Anil Nanda should be last option in his situation. There are several other physicians who use more advanced techniques than Nanda does. Hes old and set in his ways. Others have flew by his experience simply by being more up to date on all aspects of tumor treatmwnt/removal

Best wishes man. No White Flags is an apt signature. Keep up the fight.

Man, this thread is full of an incredible amount of misinformation, dick measuring contests between likely nurses, etc.

Nanda is not an option anyway unless you go to New Jersey.

No shite, but that's not the discussion.

Pray! God is good and I will pray tonight for you. Fear not what can destroy your body but fear that which can destroy your soul.

you are obviously an angry and bitter person. It explains so much of your posts on TD. I feel sorry for you.

I'll join everyone else in offering my thoughts and prayers. Never underestimate the power of God...or the OT.
A little while ago, I woke up earlier than I meant to, then started griping about a sore back and having to drag myself into rehab later today for my knee (post surgery.) Then, I read geauxdaddy's post. Life sure has the damnedest ways of giving you instant perspective, folks.

Started having seizure like symptoms but not a seizure. Very hot flush face, extreme nausea, metallic taste on my tongue and fuzzy vision. No warning just 1-10 instantly. I also started getting intense head aches about two months ago. I thought it to be sinuses because they were very similar. I’m at peace because I know God has it, just not very much fun. I’m hooked up to an ekg, blood pressure monitor, and heartbeat finger monitor and some crap on my legs. It’s 2:16 am and I cant get comfortable enough to sleep...but Geaux Tigers! Lol
