Which just means they'll get used to those fat bonuses getting a little fatter and shipping prices will increase nominally due to "higher fuel prices".

What products are cheaper as a result of cheap oil? Besides filling up your car.

When you buy a product that makes it's way to the U.S. by a ship, 10% or less of the total cost of the product is from the price of shipping. You aren't seeing the results of this unless you're in the shipping industry.

I will be glad when they drop more, after summer vacation time.

Hold on there lil buddy, that's just crazy talk!

We all know after summer vacation comes the need to raise prices to cover the swap to Winter Blend, or the change in wind direction over Timbuktu. Only crawfish prices have more "supply influences" than gasoline pricing and that's not by much.

I hope it keeps going down or stays put. Got gas for 1.79 in Kentucky. Cost me $19 to fill mini Cooper. Its nice saving a bunch of $ each week. It adds up. Especially for my jeep. Wish prices would go down in the stores. Economy seems much better and people can take vacations without worrying about gas prices

I never understood this. Do people really not go on vacations because gas is $3.50 instead of $2?

When gas was around $4, I would have to save an extra $300 or so just for gas money.

$2 a gallon gas makes everyone who works in O&G plenty of money. Higher than that is just gouging consumers.

That's not how any of this works. If they could just gouge everyone and get prices back to $120/barrel, don't you think they would?
