Let's drive out to Waco, Tx and ask around?

You are probably too big of a pussy to get on a bike anyway. Lol. I ride with with a bunch of old Gold Wing guys in their 60s and 70s often and they are some of the best men I have ever known. Would do anything for anyone.

Well if you saw my earlier post I was more talking about the crotch rocket type and their tendencies to drive eractic and break laws. I have no problem with the older guys and vets enjoying some good times on their hogs or street bikes.

Yeah I am jelly.
I can't hang with the cool people on motorcycles. You admit breaking the law and make an excuse on why you do it. My .02 you drive like a fool if you die I don't feel sorry for YOU. Think about your family and yes I do feel sorry for motorcyclists that are killed by people texting, old people, etc.

Motorcycle turned right at light going south onto a divided four lane highway in town.
Car going north turned left across the median and then across the south bound lanes to go into a shopping center without seeing the approaching motorcycle.
After making the right turn, the motorcycle only traveled the length of a gas station before hitting the car broadside.
The guy on the motorcycle was killed instantly. Had they both been in cars, no one would have gotten a scratch.
It's not for me, not enough faith in my fellow man.

Totally agree you can be the safest motorcycle driver in the world but someone else makes a mistake and it's all over.
I also had a guy on another crew at my job killed on his motorcycle when a deer crossed in front of him and collided head on. Both died. Saw him under the sheet as I was coming home from work.

Left hand turns by cars probably kill more motorcyclists than anything. I'm constantly watching for the left hand turns by cars.
Riding is incredibly dangerous but I love it and can't stop riding. If you don't ride you just don't get it. I'm a law abiding rider and try to be as safe as I can.
Please watch for us and even the young ones on sport bikes. They have families who love them to.

You would have had to have known this guy: biggest German dude ever. Van doozer was his name and he was 6'4" and about 270 lbs. I imagine the force of him on a motorcycle doing 70 mph and a 300 lb deer colliding was unliveable. I just remember seeing that big arse man on side the rode under a white sheet and a dead deer not too far away.

Bedford the 80 year old driver turned into the path of the motorcycle.
Like I said earlier you can be the safest motorcycle driver in the world but all it takes is one driver to frick up and it's over. NO THANKS

Not nearly as graphic or sobering as that but I was checking out of the emergency room about a yes ago when a young couple and a couple of the parents were sobbing in one of the hold in rooms in the emergency room. Apparently their very young child had just passed away from whatever he/she got rushed to the emergency room for. The raw emotion of the family members was gut wrenching and heart breaking and hard to watch/listen to.
