I agree, but to someone's earlier point if a teacher in a private catholic school is fired following outspoken pro-choice social media posts...

It's tough to argue their decision to fire her

I don’t see how that is relatable at all

The entire premise of a Catholic school is to instill Catholic beliefs. So someone outwardly preaching agaisnt the entire premise of that institution should have grounds for removal

family was just kicked out of a Catholic school because their daughter crushed on a girl in 3rd grade and her mother supports homosexuality. It was a thread on this site.

It’s not a one way street.

so it's a one way street with a line of ants walking in the other direction

AKA they have different beliefs or positions?

It's not different just because the subject is religion vs political beliefs.

Not surprised you are being intellectually dishonest. She compared govts goal to use hate instilled in the people in order to get the people to do their own evil bidding

Okay, and that would fall under the "treatment" umbrella.

This is what Disney cancelled her for?

What a bunch of soft, pathetic pussies.

I am definitely not following. You are expressing beliefs that differ from your employer in both scenarios

Intellectual dishonesty as it’s finest

The “different beliefs” here go agaisnt the entire premise and purpose of the institution

If someone from Burger King was posting how McDonald’s is better I also think that’s a logical grounds from removal

Democrats: Respect democracy!

Again Democrats: Destroy democracy!

Exactly what y'all are doing.

In this particular case, is Disney really considered the government?

If someone says something in a very public way (I have no clue how many followers she has, but I’ll bet it’s a lot) that has a negative effect on a company then shouldn’t they be able to fire them?

Disney clearly has the opinion that negative PR has come their way because of her.

Which behavioral hospital or mental institution are you posting this from?

Lol. How can you seriously not admit it’s simply because they don’t like conservative opinions?

Yeh, I’m sure the comparing Republicans to Nazis caused no anger

Once again, consistent application of this policy is the issue. Why do yall keep ignoring that?

They can’t admit it

Simple question for all in this thread:

Across the board, are conservative opinions protected the same as liberal opinions?

That's not the point. The point is that other Disney stars have said much worse, and nothing happened to them. Why? They have the correct political views.
