You can pretty much bring whatever you want. I've seen families sit down in Cosmic Ray's and open up a soft-side cooler with sandwiches, chips, fruit, etc. I call them the picnic brigade. I get bringing in snacks for the kids but it's vacation. If you can't afford to get your kid some chicken fingers for dinner then just go to Busch Gardens.

Can't speak for memorial day. We live in Florida and got the annual pass this year. We went for a few days the first week of June before our passes blacked out for the summer and it was the lowest crowds I've ever seen. Went last week and HOLY shite...2 hour waits for everything on a Monday in October.
After reading this thread, I can't say that I saw a large number of gay couples that time either

They'll probably let you in the park 7:30-7:45 ish. I never get seated too early.
Make sure it's not an early entry day for Disney resort guests. There's like 30,000 rooms of people. Lol.
I expect the park will be dead say 3 out of 10 during the week. 5 / 10 on the weekends. No worries.
ETA The Magic Kingdom restaurants are not parade friendly for the most part. You are inside & the parade is outside. We like the Tomorrowland Terrace for fireworks but it's counter service. The Plaza is convienient too but you're inside.
Cinderella's castle during fireworks is cool.

30 MAY 2016. On a Monday...the crowd isn't that bad. We went during that time frame during the Star Wars Weekends for the past two years now.
Have no problem at all. A little warm, but nothing that is unbearable. Absolutely loved it...
The quick service aren't that bad, but with kids and the experiences, the table service rocks. Especially the Star Wars breakfast at the SciFi Dine In. Best shrimp and grits you will ever eat. Period.

I am still trying to figure that shite out. It's normally been the slowest week every year at Magic Kingdom. WTF happened, Epcot was unbearable because of Food and Wine, but this year was just ridiculous with record crowds. Universal is always crazy for HHN, but Magic Kingdom is normally pretty slow... Not last week....

Its rare that a photog goes in. You should know this. You think the memory maker people are going to follow all of the characters around, especially waiting while the characters sign books and interact?

I went on Halloween days, both of them were extremely busy. The halloween party I went to was a sellout and it was the tuesday one, not the sunday one. The sunday one I dont think sold out.
Epcot, my god, that was just nuts all week. Never seen it like that. Picked monday and later in the week avoiding halloween days, didn't work.

Just watching through the stained glass windows is cool. No place to watch that I've been to. Maybe for some heavy hitters there is somewhere.

You can pack in whatever you want at Disney, Food, snacks, drinks, whatever. At Universal, not so much. You can bring in some snacks and waters but no lunches or other food. They'll make you dump it or carry it back to the car. Seen it happen a bunch.

What's the website where they'll make your itinerary? I've seen you post it
I think it costs a few dollars but is well worth it. It tells you which days to go to which parks and you select what attractions you want and it gives you a detailed map and schedule. We went in July and saw everything we wanted and never waited more than 30 minutes in line

I was there last week too. MK was super packed. It took well over an hour at the bus stop going back to the hotel/ resort
